My Weekend

Well so far the weekend was great. Friday was a busy work day but at least I got to work with my favorite crew. Saturday was busy. First was my cousin's daughter's 6th birthday party. My boy wasn't very social until all the kids started to run around the basement. He loves to run, good thing. We left earlier than we normally do. We usually stay to help clean up or stick around until we are one of the last there. An old friend of my hubby's invited us to her annual "apple dumpling day". She holds it before Thanksgiving and always makes everything homemade. Then we play cards late into the night....this time was no different. We stayed until midnight. I actually won a game. Very suprised by that one...I was half asleep and getting grumpy. James as always won 2 of the games. He's great at it.
Now, onto Sunday. Hubby stayed up playing his internet games until 7:30 in the morning, idiot. Then didn't get up until noon this afternoon.
Kiddo and I got up at a too early 8:30 and have been happily lazy and playing with my boy sense.

So Far...

Well I think I might be getting the hang of this blogging thing, I think.

So far in my life Halloween passed bringing along the snow and cold in it's wake.

My boy, Christian was a lion for Halloween and was cute as ever. We went around our lovely Lapeer, along with my cousin Sarah and her family. It was a hoot.

Next little event was scrapbooking for a day and then on to Turkey Bingo! It's a yearly thing that's put on and only 20 turkeys are given away...luckily I won the last turkey!! It's odd how you can get excited over winning a frozen bird, but I did.

Other than those few events not much is going on...my husband's planned trip to Mexico and China got pushed back a few weeks but he's still going there for work and probably a little play time for him to.
